Besides cavity pressure the cavity temperature is the „controlling“ parameter if it is the question to determine
and to influence the quality of a molded part. Among other things the reason for this is that the shrinkage of
a molded part happens not only due to pressure changes but also due to temperature changes. PRIAMUS
temperature sensors and the associated electronics have been especially developed for the use in injection
molding. Because of their technical properties (accuracy, frequency, material pairs and sensor principle)
they are ideally suitable for quality assurance in injection molding.
