PRIAMUS and Gammaflux launch system for sequential molding control

PRIAMUS and the hotrunner controller manufacturer Gammaflux have expanded their cooperation and present new a complete system for melt front dependent sequential molding control and for automatic hotrunner control.

The automatic sequential molding control is based on the cavity temperature which is measured directly at the cavity surface. As soon as the melt reaches the temperature sensor, the PRIAMUS TTC eDAQ detects automatically a signal that opens the shut-off nozzle at the optimal moment. The Gammaflux SVGC controller controls up to 32 nozzles, which can be opened and closed until 3 times during one cycle.

The integrated PRIAMUS Fill & Cool system controls that a once optimized filling time between the nozzles does not change anymore, for example due to viscosity variations. If the flow time of the melt changes until a defined sensor, the according nozzle temperature will be automatically adjusted until the original condition is achieved. Thus it can be guaranteed that possible existing weld lines do not move but stay at the required position.

This means many advantages for the user. By the integration of both systems only one platform is needed. This saves considerably space in production and simplifies the operation for the user essentially. At the same time the integrated system is significantly less expensive than the single systems because only one hardware platform, respectively computer or screen, is needed.
