PRIAMUS SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES is an internationally acting company located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland with branch offices in Germany and the USA. Since many years PRIAMUS is specialized in the development and production of sensors, electronics and software-based monitoring- and closed loop control systems for the quality management in the plastics industry. The basis for the measurement systems are cavity pressure and cavity temperature sensors, which are used to monitor and ensure the quality within the plastics injection process.

For our R&D department we are looking for a

Control Systems Engineer (m/f)

Your Tasks:

  • Involvement in projects beginning with the specification to the finished product
  • Software development on embedded systems
  • Digital signal processing (measurement of temperature, amperage, voltage etc.)
  • Closed loop control and tuning algorithms
  • Creation and maintenance of interfaces to external systems
  • Involvement in an international team of developers
  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%

Your Qualifications:

  • Engineers diploma of ETH, university or FH
  • 5+ years in software and control systems development.
  • Knowledge of development on embedded systems using C/C++ or Python
  • Independent work style
  • Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
  • Ideally you have:
    • Experience with embedded linux
    • Knowledge of mixed-signal circuitry and motor-control
