Process Monitoring

PRIAMUS stands for targeted process monitoring by means of selected monitoring functions. We collect all relevant process parameters such as pressure and temperature in the cavity and make them available. Use the visualization of the data on one of our systems or integrate them directly on your server.

Error Detection

We support you in selecting the right functions and ensure that we detect errors early and avoid them. For this purpose PRIAMUS offers a variety of monitoring options for your process. These can be combined at will and thus adapted to your needs.

Different Sensor types

By combining different sensor types, our systems are able to document and monitor in detail the flow properties of the material in the mold. This is possible by using temperature and pressure sensors that are installed at two different positions in the mold. This way, changes in the process or in the material can be detected at an early stage, thus enabling countermeasures to be taken.

Handling system

PRIAMUS naturally offers the possibility of using the findings from process monitoring to identify bad parts as such. These can then be separated. We facilitate communication with the machine in order to select bad parts either via a separation switch or directly via the handling system. A direct response of the handling system is also possible.

We make sure that all bad parts and potential bad parts are recognized as such and removed accordingly. In order to keep the reject rate as low as possible, especially for high-priced components, we select per cavity and not exclusively for the entire shot.

Interfaces

All process data are either stored locally by PRIAMUS or made available externally via an interface. We rely on industrial standards such as OPC UA or XML. Customers can opt for selected parameters or save all recorded data. Due to the modular structure of the hardware and software, the customer-specific catalog of requirements can also be addressed.

Furthermore, PRIAMUS also offers the possibility of visualizing all collected data in our free utility program. Here we offer the same structure as for our production software.
